Living Coasts

Posted on

While I was in Devon, I visited one of two of my favourite places. Living Coasts is a coastal zoo in Torquay and I spent quite a lot of time there a couple of years ago. Their main attraction is the penguins on penguin beach where they are free to roam where they please and where you can get up close and personal (avoiding physical contact). Besides the penguins they have various species of sea birds, otters, fur seals and an aquarium. It doesn’t take long to walk round but it’s worth staying longer to watch all the feeds and talks especially the fur seals. If you plan on visiting yourself check out the website for more information firstĀ http://www.livingcoasts.org.uk/

A Trip to Devon

Posted on

Many people have a place that is special to them and Devon is mine, well Paignton and Torquay to be exact. It’s where I grew up and have the most special memories of and every now and then I like to go back to the place that makes me happy. It’s a place where I can gather my thoughts and be me. I’ve spent many a moment looking out to the ocean and appreciating my surroundings. Everything is so much more laid back there which is something that is noticeable when you live in South East London and constantly on the go. Here’s a few pictures I took when I visited at the end of September.
